Strategic Sale of Venali, Inc., Inc. to j2 Global Communications (NASDAQ:JCOM)

Pharus Advisors served as the financial advisor to Venali, Inc. on its successful sale to j2 Global Communications. The transaction mandate for Pharus involved identifying and conducting a sale process among a narrow set of strategic buyers, emphasizing Venali’s value proposition in the marketplace. The transaction allows J2 to continue its expansion plan to grow market share both domestically and internationally. Pharus began marketing Venali to J2 in March 2010 and closed the transaction in September of 2010. The acquisition of Venali by j2 Global Communications is intended to strengthen further J2’s enterprise fax offering.
